It attracts many visitors and pilgrims from all walks of life giving them the opportunity to ‘stand still’ and be in the presence of God or simply to catch a glimpse of the aerial view around the Hill..

The Vietnamese-Australian community gratefully donated the granite altar erected at the base of the Cross.

Each month hundreds of people would gather in front of the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, duly built on the hillside.

A large concrete cross marking the site of the proposed church was erected on the hilltop overlooking the motorway.
