On August 15, the greatest of all Marian feasts, we celebrate the greatest moment of Mary's life. The Catholic Church teaches authoritatively that it is not just Mary’s soul that was admitted to God’s glory, but that, at the end of her earthly life, Mary’s body as well as her soul was assumed into heaven by the loving power of God.
Download the newsletter here.Those who desire to receive the crown of purity from our Lord should not hesitate to fly to the Virgin Mary, Mother of God, whose tender love and concerned intercessory help is never withheld from her children. It is our Virgin Mother who will take us into her worthy hands, guide us toward her Son, and lower the glorious crown upon our heads.
"Through her Fiat, the Word of God Took Flesh in the Tabernacle of her Womb” Living in daily intimacy with the divine child, whom she knew from Scripture was the Son of God, yet destined to become “a man of sorrows,” “a worm and no man,” “despised and rejected by men” required enormous faith and surrender in God’s designs.
For a mom living in an age where definitions of motherhood have become plastic, my radar is up for solid models of godly motherhood. We must not overlook one such model — MARY. Many women were loved and blessed by God in the Scriptures, but one in particular was highly favoured by God.
